1.News of the day
Wanna go to nail house?
You can always fill the surrounding with water I guess...it could become a landmark test for new Chinese property law passed just recently. Really LANDMARK indeed.

Only happens in China!?

2.Quote of the day
"I'm not stubborn or unruly, I'm just trying to protect my personal rights as a citizen. I will continue to the end."
- Mr, Wu the nailhouse occupant

"He wants 20 million yuan, or he'll stay till the end of the world ."
- A saleswoman at Weilian Real Estate Sales Company

Clearing the air...me HKSAR government!? What!?
On my recent trip back to Hong Kong, the air smells like shxt, and my immune system declared war on myself because of all the dirty crap I kept pulling in every time I breathe.

I guess there are no excuses for the HKSAR government...with the near-monopoly on power generation in HK, they are just hopeless...53% of the pollution are from HK itself! Don't blame China every single time FFS!

Well, you don't wanna go against the 9th richest man in the world would you?

Yeah right...

4.Video of the day
Fishball 101
I teach you demand and supply in a HK way.

Its funny and strangely easy to absorb...best spoon-fed I've ever seen.

If you don't know Chinese, just answer the question: If a bowl of fishballs of 6 cost 20bucks, a bowl of cowballs of 6 cost 20bucks, and a bowl of mixed balls(3 fishballs, 3 cowballs) cost 22bucks, What is the cheapest way to maximize utility and minimize cost with a group of 2?

I don't know wtf I am talking about, that guy is brilliant! (He is getting like at least US 250K a year for teaching you how to get the most balls in a HK way ...)

1.News of the day
Bonus question for that one extra mark...you got 100 years to solve
The solution maps the inner workings of E8, an esoteric 248-dimensional structure that is an example of a Lie (pronounced "Lee") group. Or ABCDEFG, HIJKMNOP...

Don't ask me what an E8 is, just look stare at the picture and be amazed.

2.Quote of the day
"To say what precisely it is is something even many mathematicians can't understand"
- Jeffrey Adams, the project's leader and a math professor at the University of Maryland.

3.Article of the day
One article Two responses Three thoughts
You probably want to read the Chinese version instead. I respect Lung Ying-tai's thoughts and I like her writing style, even if I don't agree some of her points.

Read it. Its a good one...if you love Chinese culture...and care about the future of China.

4.Video of the day
