I just got the link from someone's blog, and its actually a touching and genuine commercial (genuine and commercial seems to stand at the opposite end of each other...)

A Tim Hortons Commercial that tells the story of three generations of Chinese Canadian. Tim Horton's coffee is the link....

[STORYLINE]
Lou, a Chinese immigrant, raises his son, Jimmy, to study and work hard. When Lou finds young Jimmy playing street hockey, he expresses his disapproval. Many years later, an elderly Lou enters a hockey arena with a tray of Tim Hortons coffee. He heads into the stands, and hands a coffee to Jimmy – who is an adult now. Jimmy seems surprised to see his father there. Lou explains that he has come to see his grandson Tommy (Jimmy’s son) play hockey. It is soon revealed that Lou used to secretly watch his son play at the same arena years ago, and that he always enjoyed a Tim Hortons coffee while he watched. Lou and Jimmy share a moment, as they each enjoy a delicious Tim Hortons coffee and proudly watch Tommy play.

The comment of those users are pretty offending, but the story itself (Which for a Chinese guy, you know this is actually the NORM) is very touching.

Adding the fact that the main characters are all Chinese Canadian in a main stream TV ad in Canada, this makes me want to drink even more Tim Hortons...

Maybe Michael Chong(莊文浩) did something right when he resign back in November in protest of our PM regarding to Quebec...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Chong

Its getting close to Christmas, and for this time of day, its hard for people who lost their love, or don't have their love, or unable to love at all.

Lets just listen to the music...and think about...what you don't want to think about when you're alone.

Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence, 板本龍一 Thanks for Sunny's post about the music, I always have no idea where the song came from http://sunnychanorg.blogspot.com/

Lonely Christmas, 陳奕迅
This is highly recommended by a pop star from Taiwan (Jolin). For me, I enjoy it all the time with, or without my love.

Last Christmas, George Michael
The lyrics is unforgettable...or just that phrase "Last Christmas, I gave you my heart, but the very next day, you gave it away..."

Christmas Eve Sarajevo, Trans-Siberian Orchestra
Pure classical music WITH metallica...and when you realize all the hell they've been through in the late 90s, you will know it was a tragic time...

A surveillance video recording for an apparent murder near a hip-hop club, it has been uploaded to youtube since its target witness are in their late teens and its only natural for the Police to start using the power of Web 2.0.

When you think about all the hand held cell phones....you got the idea. You have so many big-brother now!
