1.News of the day

Kyoto Protocol gonna kick my ass - my fellow Canadian asses!
So our Environment Minister gave us this study, which forecasts immediate and far-reaching impacts on Canadians and the economy including:

- 275,000 Canadians would lose their job by 2009
- The cost of electricity bills would jump 50% after 2010
- The cost of filling up a car would jump 60%
- The cost of heating a home by natural gas would double

IF WE EVEN TRY TO FOLLOW WHAT WE SAID WE WILL DO. This is indeed very scary. So, if we do nothing about Global Climate change, we can finally have more than 6 months of summer while the rest of the world dies?

For lazy ass Canadians like me, this maybe the best option ever happened. I am so sick of it, but I do enjoy the warm braze in April!!!

Hm...no problem eh?

2.Quote of the day
"Our preference is to pursue a balanced approach that recognizes the urgent need to act on the environment, while also respecting our responsibility to keep Canadian families working."

Alright, dunno what I am talking about? Me neither. But reduce the use of live animals in education and training is good.

The writing of this post DID not use any live animals! Never! (Well maybe my cat cause she was complaining about furballs and I have to comb her...)

1.News of the day
Copycat ... WTF?
Two "senator" from Taiwan did a call wolf in VT shooting style this Wednesday.

Basically, these two dumb and dumberer doofus members of parliament in Taiwan falsely reported an attack on the elite Taipei's National Taiwan University in Taipei on Wednesday to "test its response" after Monday's massacre at Virginia Tech.

What do you get? Well, a dozens of police armed with machine guns stormed the campus after the politicians phoned the authorities to report that two men had abducted 30 students.

And a lot of angry people.

What are you thinking? Gee, I wish they got shot up by the police for being a stupid ass!

2.Quote of the day
""We saw that incident in the United States and were afraid someone here would try to imitate it.""
-An assistant of those two Taiwan members of parliament

The American Tragedy
The American Dream...no more.

While I agree that there are social outcast everywhere in modern society, however, not many places on earth has such lack of gun control. ANY legal resident/citizen can get a hold of handguns that POLICE forces uses...and if you dig deeper, you can even get a .50 cal sniper rifle!

The only place that is more dangerous I can think of is...hm Iraq. Their AK-47 is cheaper and more lethal.

So much for the second amendment, which saids:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Maybe we should keep those Arms 1790's style...Not a fcking GLock 19!

1.News of the day
Wanna be my girlfriend Meng!~
Paul Wolfowitz, the neo-conservative super gross comb-licking guy from the Bush Administration, master of the cluster-fuck in Iraq and head of World Bank among all the controversy, is into trouble again.

What did he do? Not much, just giving some good package for his girlfriend who works in the World Bank as well...getting close to $200,000 USD tax exempt salary...

The European members want him to resign...but he was just helping his girlfriend out!

He said he is being victimized by "misleading information" about events surrounding Ms. Riza's departure. Oh really...

You suck, Wolfowitz.

2.Quote of the day
"Another important feature of one’s readiness to get married is the example set by one’s parents. If you grew up with parents who married young and stayed together happily, then young marriage is presented as an absolute truth. If your parents married young and then split up, or stayed together but were unhappy, you are aware that there are alternatives. Prince William, of course, would fall into the latter category."
-Dorothy Rowe, psychologist on Prince William split
